Three Praxity participant firms are among the finalists for the 2016 British Accountancy Awards.
Mazars is on the shortlist for ‘National Firm of the Year’ and ‘Top 50 Tax Team of the Year’ while Rouse Partners is a finalist for ‘Most Innovative Practise, mid-tier firm’ and PM+M is shortlisted for ‘Best Employer’.
The prestigious awards celebrate the best in the profession and highlight those that have demonstrated excellence during the last 12 months.
Rouse Partners were nominated following the development of a bespoke central information hub which team members use to collaborate, share information and carry out tasks.
The platform has allowed processes and systems across the firm to be optimised, to increase efficiency and add value for clients. As a result, the time devoted to providing client advisory services and face-to-face meetings this year increased by a staggering 50%.
Rouse Partners’ managing partner Neil Relph said making the shortlist was a “real accolade”, adding: “Through the innovations that we have made we are able to spend more time with clients. This means we are able to delve deeper, to greater understand their position and to better assist them in finding the right solution.”
PM+M were shortlisted as Best Employer following a detailed online survey of their whole team which covered all aspects of the firm’s culture, rewards and benefits and behaviours.
PM+M’s managing partner Jane Parry said: “We are really proud that all the hard work and focus we have put into building our culture has been recognised. Getting our team culture right is absolutely critical to our success as a firm. It’s why clients choose to work with us and why great people choose to join us and build their careers with us. We got some fantastic feedback from the survey results and are using that to make PM+M even better.”
