Praxity member firm Forrester Boyd has been named Large Practice of the Year in the Practice Excellence Awards 2016.
The annual awards, organised by AccountingWEB, recognise and celebrate the UK’s best accountancy firms.
Forrester Boyd was praised for its client service, sustainable growth and commitment to staff. Judges commented: “Client service sits at the heart of Forrester Boyd while at the same time it manages to balance strong but sustainable growth in all areas across the practice. The firm’s focus on its people, including its rising stars programme, shows a serious commitment to the future of both the business and staff. The importance of soft skills is woven into the practice culture, which underpins a steady stream of new service offerings and bold marketing initiatives.”
AccountingWEB editor John Stokdyk said at the awards ceremony in Mayfair on 20 October 2016: “If you put clients first and devote your energy to anticipating and catering for their business needs, you will satisfy your clients and build a successful practice.”
Practice chairman Steve Czornyj expressed his delight at winning the award, saying: “Like all the partners I am very proud of our staff for their dedication to looking after clients. Without this positive attitude their technical skills would only have a fraction of the impact necessary to get us to this level.”
More than 35 accounting firms and individuals attended the event which attracted 173 firms and individuals across 11 categories.
